I enjoyed participating in the 2019 Supers Read to Young Children event! The goal is to encourage infants and toddlers build a lifelong love of learning. This year's reading was done at Cadence Academy Preschool in Smithfield.


Thank you to Farm Fresh RI and Chartwells for providing our OCRS first graders the opportunity to visit Jaswell's Farm for a pumpkin picking adventure!!! Students in the first grade learn about seeds and how they produce new plants.

Architects are completing detailed drawings for the elementary building projects. For plans presented on October 28th, see http://bit.ly/2pqHqI1 Also, concerns about the potential traffic at McCabe was discussed. Principals are investigating procedures to alleviate concerns.

SHS Parent Council Vendor Fair planned for Wednesday, November 13th at 7pm at the SHS media center.
