Next week is Respect Week 2019; this is a Special Olympics Unified Champion School initiative. Students will have many opportunities during the week to learn about diversity and inclusion. We will have guest appearances from R.I. Special Olympians, kindness activities, a Unified basketball game, the Imagination Playground, and a special furry visitor who has just recently woken up from hibernation! The Kids Heart Challenge will also take place all week. Our new Unified Stand, that was generously built and donated by the Amaral family, will also be unveiled. McCabe Unified bracelets will be sold all week at lunch for $2.00. Thank you, PTO!
